My skeptical brain was soon kicked into touch when we opened up the tent itself (remember to unzip the door from the bottom up!). A generous wood store awaits and the cooking area is great for rustling up a delicious bite to eat. The camping area is well-planned and equipped, with all of your needs catered for. The walk down to the site (which is quite steep, so do take care) was very impressive even in testing weather conditions! The flowing stream and the bridge over to the Tree Tent really made you feel quite honoured to be able to experience this beautiful haven of tranquility. The Tree Tent exceeded my expectations in a very positive and surprising way. I have to be completely honest, glamping is not my bag… Or so I thought.Īlison and I visited the Tree Tent on a very grey, drizzly day (although seeing an exceptional number of red kites on the way did distract my attention from this throughout the journey).
